The RASC supports Next Generation farmers and advocates who are committed to improving the work of the RASC and their respective societies!
RASC Next Generation began in the Albury Commonwealth Agricultural Conference held in 2004 and has since grown from strength to strength, encouraging the involvement of youth in its activities. Next Generation representatives are hand selected by RASC member societies and come from over 50 leading national and regional agricultural show societies, agricultural associations and research bodies working in 20 Commonwealth countries. They are all under 40 years of age and bring a wide range of experiences from their countries and societies.
The RASC Next Generation strategic intent is to:
- Develop an international network and support system that will foster the collaboration and exchange of ideas between the NG delegation.
- Advocate NG leadership within the RASC and its member societies.
- Support the RASC in achieving its own aims and objectives.
- Achieve tangible and measurable results within the commonwealth countries.
